A hot water bottle gives a gentle warm! Let the hot water bottle heat up when you feel shivering. A hot water bottle also helps relieve stomach, shoulder and muscle pain. For children, a hot water bottle is an excellent aid for growing pains. Please note that the hot water bottle can also be used cold.
The cover of the hot water bottle is made from 100% New Zeeland wool. Wool is mulesing free and we work only with certified spinning mills. All yarns are spun as well as dyed in Europe according to REACH regulations and fulfil the ÖKO-TEX certificate.
Our strategy is to be responsible for the whole production from yarn to readymade products. Main part of our whole production is made in our own weaving mill in Lapua. In case the production is not possible to make in Lapua, we do it in our own subsidiary sewing company or partly owned factory in Lithuania, where we can also be part of companies’ sustainable development. Hot water bottles product development and design, material purchasing, structure of the fabric and programming of the jacquard machines are done in own weaving mill in Finland. Warping, weaving, finishing, and fabric inspection is done in Lithuania in our partly owned weaving mill. Sewing is done mainly in our subsidiary sewing company in Lithuania, partly in Finland. Accessories come from Europe, mainly from Finland.
The hot water bottle inside the cover is made in Germany. Hot water bottles are manufactured by Fashy GmbH, which is world leader manufacture of hot water bottles. Hot water bottles are exceptional and come with a series of very good product characteristics. Hot water bottles capacity is 2,0 litres. Hot water bottles come with hook and closure which are made of polypropylene. The material is odourless, and it has fade proofed colours. Hot water bottles are made from recyclable PVC. The bottles are easy to fill and their jointless neck prevents leakages. Hot water bottle come with instructions. Hot water bottles comply with the British Standard BS1970:2012 and they are additionally tested by TÜV Süd. Hot water bottles are marked with the CE marking, and they fall under the Directive 93/42/ECC of 1993 on medical devices. Hot water bottles can be sterilized by steam.
