The Pepper Bird is sweet and decorative The little Pepper Bird can’t grind pepper, though. Instead, he can brighten up your home, as only true Danish design can! This little Pepper Bird is a tribute to the design icon, first created by self-taught Danish designer Sven-Erik Tonn-Petersen (Tonn-P) in the late 1950s. Our relaunch of Tonn-P’s design in 2015 kicked off Spring Copenhagen, and in 2025 we've relaunched it again to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The Pepper Bird is a true design icon The Pepper Bird with pepper grinder quickly became a favourite in Danish homes back in the late 1950s. Maybe this smaller Pepper Bird will become a new favourite too? Okay, it might not be super useful at the dinner table. Instead, it gets to watch politely from the shelf while the big Pepper Bird with grinder hops about the dining table.
