Melamine is a hard plastic that can crack in case of hard fall and blow, at the first sign of cracks replace the product. The product is made in a very nice factory certified by BSCI for good and safe working conditions. Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was born in a real artist's home and learned to draw almost before she learned to walk.
