‎Teemu Järvi is an artist and designer specializing in nature topics. The lake's wilderness-themed work covers a wide range of art graphics, from book and magazine illustrations to usage items and different concepts. Each work stems from the deep nature experience that has accumulated over the years: Järvi, who spends much of his year in the forest and waters, knows the nuanced features of Finnish wild life. Traditional ways of working, such as cane pens, create products that build a bridge from busy urban everyday life to ancient, soothing nature.‎

‎The lake's artworks and products are created using handicraft-focused methods, and many tools and models of their images Järvi collects or requests himself. The work of the lake focuses on the source of everything, i.e. the wonderfully diverse nature, which is becoming poorer at a worrying rate as a result of human actions.‎

‎The versatile kitchen towel is also suitable as a hand towel.‎ ‎

Lapuan Kankurit is part of the Masters of Linen organisation, which means that flax used in products is of the best European quality. The towels are made of Masters of Linen quality ainapellava and bio-organic cotton made according to the Öko-Tex standard. The products are woven in our weaving in Lapua and have been awarded the Key Flag symbol.‎
