New series of glass baubles from Alessi in 2023. Handpainted. A set of 3 small balls (not loose) and three separately available large balls. Alessandro Mendini was surprised by the relationship between the French writer Proust and the Parisian Pointillists.     ALESSANDRO MENDINI
    Alessandro Mendini (1931-2019) is one of the most important figures in modern Italian design. He shaped the magazine Domus, was winner of the Compasso d'Oro and one of the leaders of Alchimia and the Memphis movement. Designer of the Groninger Museum in Groningen and director of the series of electrical household appliances that Philips manufactured with Alessi in the 90s. At Alessi he brought in big names like Sapper, Graves and others who played an important role in the face of Alessi.
