All forms of "Tonale" tableware are conceived as truncated/conical volumes. The dinnner plate, for example, consists of a wide circular level and low edges. In the dinner plate, the stoneware ceramic material is offered in a color present in all versions of the set: light gray. Tonale Tonale tableware, designed by David Chipperfield, is a collection of plates in stoneware ceramic, conceived as a refinement of home-based objects. The name Tonale refers to the use of different color shades. Each object acquires its own individuality, disconnected from the others and at the same time, it is joined by the same color range. The Tonale set meets the modern requirements of objects durability and versatility. Just like in a painting, Tonale offers you the possibility of composing your own table by matching objects and color tones in an original, elegant and pictorial manner.
