Herring oilcloth is wipeable and easy to wipe with a damp cloth. The oilcloth is made of cotton and treated with a water-repellent finish to resist spills and stains. It has a thin coating of acrylate (not PVC).

Herring, was created by Marianne Nilsson for the Linnelinjen collection in 1955. Herring is a real pattern classic and is one of Almedahl's most popular. Originally, the pattern was called Sillsexa, but nowadays it is simply called Sill.
