Designed by the renowned British architect David Chipperfield, in his own words "The motif of the relief I chose was based on a series of references, obviously the idea of the fishing net, but also an allusion to the traditional decoration of Japanese ceramics. Perhaps the most important thing was the idea of a pattern that seems tactile and that can be extended over the shape creating a concept not only of surface but also of structure."
