The authorand artist Tove Jansson loved nature and its special light. Almost all of her stories and illustrations take place in nature. In the series "Forest and Lake" the illustrations are taken from a fantastic image material where the water and the sky, just as in Nordic summers flash in crackling yellow or burn like fire. It is an incredibly artistic series several of moomin valley's inhabitants are featured under the beautiful heavens. in the series there is bowl, flat plate, nice mug and one-pack spoons with various beautiful motifs! The products are sold without packaging and are ideal for children's everyday life, and wonderful to picknik or party.

The product is dishwasher safe (50°C) and microwave heating (max 1 min/800W) and is made of scratch-resistant melamine plastic and PVC-free suction cup ring. Melamine is a hard plastic that can crack in case of hard fall and blow, at the first sign of cracks replace the product. The product is made in a very nice factory certified by BSCI for good and safe working conditions. The factory is certified according to the quality management system ISO 9001 to ensure good handling of products to be used with food.

Tove Jansson (1914-2001) was born in a real artist's home and learned to draw almost before she learned to walk. In 1918, in the midst of the burning civil war, her father wrote home from the front "Maybe Tove may one day become a real artist. Maybe a really big one!" Tove Jansson is loved all over the world for his books about moomins and is known as an illustrator, artist and author. In addition to her own books, she also illustrated, among other things, J.R.R. Tolkien's Bilbo and Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. Toven Jansson has been awarded a number of fine awards for his creation. Rätt Start has been making baby products with motifs from Tove Jansson's tales about the Moomins since 2002.
