These ornaments have leather hanging loops and they are made of white stoneware with a glaze. The gift package includes two ornaments: one with the three-dimensional Unikko pattern flower and one with the Siirtolapuutarha pattern flower. The Marimekko logo is printed on the back.

Marimekko’s famous poppy pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.

Maija Louekari’s Siirtolapuutarha (city garden) is a brilliant line drawing which tells a tale of a journey from a bustling city center to an allotment garden overflowing with flowers and vegetables.
