Sauna pillows have high quality finishing and pillows are made of easy care linen-cotton that brings out the beautiful shine of linen. Please note that our sauna pillows can be also used as a travel pillow. The illustrator Matti Pikkujämsä is an award-winning grafic designer. He won the Finnish Illustration State Award in 2015 and Illustrator of the year award 2019. Matti draws inspiration from the nostalgic features of the Finnish everyday life, finishing the art pieces with warm humour. Matti Pikkujämsä has been working together with Lapuan Kankurit since 2010 and many of his classic designs can be found in our collection.

We weave our sauna textiles in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland, using fully traceable European long-staple linen. Our unique finishing facility, located next to the weaving mill in Lapua, allows us to give these textiles a high-quality finish. This means that, with proper care, the textile will retain its shape in home washing and maintain its form wash after wash.

Please note that our sauna pillows can be also used as a travel pillow. It’s also the perfect companion to take along  to a yoga studio or for a day at the beach.
