Per Lütken is the grand old man of Danish glassware design, and he has breathed life into thousands of glass designs in his time at Holmegaard Glasværk. This includes the Holmegaard Ideelle wine range, with its feminine, curvy shapes. Malene Lütken is Per Lütken’s daughter, and she created the wine and water carafe of the Ideelle range in 2000. The Ideelle carafe has now been re-launched and the capacity of this mouth blown carafe is 1,1 litre. An obvious choice for a favourite wine or refreshing soft drink, and a must on hot summer’s days when the practical “glass lip” serves as a useful block to keep ice cubes, refreshing mint or slices of lime inside the carafe.
