Ultra-traditional, luxury glass series that features wine, water and champagne in decorative, mouth-blown crumbs and has strong roots in glass history, as well as Venice's iconic crystal tradition. The refined glass design is not just mouth blown, but produced with great technical character and composed of four finely worked individual parts, which together create the pompous design. Regina's complicated construction thus points back to venetian glass culture with ornamented feet and decadent, turned crumbs that give the glasses an aura of elegance both with and without content. The Regina series was designed by Anja Kjær, who created the unique glass series for the Danish royal couple's silver wedding in 1992. The glasses were produced by Holmegaard as a gift from Copenhagen's Citizens' Representation.
