The jacket ensures that the contents of the carafe are kept hot or cool for longer, and prevents condensation trickle onto the table. The jacket is made of neoprene covered in textured woven textile. The glass and metal parts are dishwasher-safe. The jacket is machine-washable at 30 degrees C.
