Naturally, the snowwife wears a top hat, typical of the classic snowman. With a height of 9 cm and a diameter of 4.5 cm, she is shaped using soft lines, complete with the Hammershøi series’ iconic grooves that are characteristic of Hans-Christian Bauer’s dinnerware and table decorations. This model is the hanging version of the snowwife, but you can also get a standing version. The choice is yours. Kähler’s snowman family consists of the Snowman, Snowwife, Snowboy and Snowgirl, all decorated in different ways using motifs from the Hammershøi Christmas series, painted in watercolour by Rikke Jacobsen and transferred to the snow-white porcelain.
