DESIGN ICONS IN ENAMEL

The much-loved enamel designs of the 60s are today considered design icons and are coveted collectibles, particularly the brightly-coloured enamelled bowls, which were hugely popular in Scandinavia and the US in the 1960s. Some of the most popular designs are the result of a collaboration between the Norwegian ironworks Cathrineholm and the Norwegian enamel artist Grete Prytz Kittelsen.
