Designer Heta Vajavaara first came up with the HAVAS blanket’s weave through her own personal weave structure library that she stocks with interesting weaves she discovers. “I was instantly drawn to the fun rhythm of the design, and how different colours would uplift and highlight certain aspects of it.”

Heta describes HAVAS as a design with a very traditional starting point, that is made interesting with the variations in the yarn colour and groupings. This creates the repetitive, almost geometric rhythm in the pattern, the music to which the yarns dance throughout the blanket.

The HAVAS blanket is made from 100% wool and contains Finnsheep wool! Finnsheep wool is not only versatile but also one of the softest wool varieties in the Nordic region.
