Lamp Oceanic, Michele De Lucchi, Memphis Milano, 1981

Size H: 75 cm

Oceanic has been produced without interruption since 1981 by Memphis Milano and has never lost its appeal to lovers of radical design. Michele De Lucchi is born in 1951 in Ferrara, Italy. He was a famous designer and architect from the 1980s to the present day, where he is still at the forefront of the scene. A key figure of Italian postmodernism, a member of Alchimia, then of the Memphis Milano group, he has also distinguished himself for his creations for other publishers, including Olivetti, Alessi, Alias, Kartell, etc. He designed several icons of the Memphis movement, including the Oceanic lamp (1981), the Flamingo (1984) and Kristall (1981) tables and the First chair (1983).
