Simbolik Collection
Symbolik is the name of Karim Rashid's first collection presented by Bitossi in 2006, which is still in the catalogue today in a limited edition.
Totems, vases and bowls make up the bizarre and futuristic series in magnetic colours: an alternation of unusual pantones, from fuchsia to pistachio green, canary yellow, silver and so on. Elements that follow one another to compose shapes with an almost anthropomorphic trait. The design is realised using the white clay casting technique, each element is covered with glossy and colourful glazes applied one on top of the other.
This is the world of Karim Rashid where every graphic subject is endlessly repeated in both the formal and decorative parts.
